Updates
- A chapter's number appears once at its opening, as the large numeral, and the reader header names the chapter only after you scroll past its title.
- In the reader, text, headings and every caption share one width, and figures, tables and algorithms share a wider column from the same left edge.
- Coming back from the checkout page with the Back button shows a ready purchase button, and the checkout page opens a little sooner.
- The header is a floating bar that marks the page you are on. On phones the five main sections sit in a bar at the bottom of the screen.
- The chapters page reads as the book's contents, with each part's numeral and sentence above its chapters. On phones a row of part buttons jumps to each part.
- Each chapter opens with its number in the part's colour and ends with the next and previous chapters as cards showing their first figure.
- The video course groups its lessons under each part's numeral, and every lesson page ends with the previous and next lessons as cards.
- The PCToolbox screenshots sit beside what the software does, its licence and its platform, and the sign-in page shows the book beside the form.
- The search button offers the parts of the book before you type, and each chapter in the search results opens with its part's shape.
- The pricing page and the homepage show the three plans as cards side by side, each with its price, what it includes and a purchase button. Every item is explained under What is included on the pricing page.
- Paid chapters opened without access show one screen: the opening lines, then a closed panel with the price and the purchase button.
- The homepage section Inside the book has six part cards, and the selected part shows a sentence from the book, its chapters and one figure.
- After a purchase you get a plain-text email that says where your library is and how to sign in.
The page after checkout tells Book + Videos buyers that videos appear as they are published, and Practitioner buyers how to book their session.
- A partial refund keeps your access, and only a full refund ends it.
- Sign-in links open a short page with one Sign in button, so an email link scanner can no longer use up your link.
Replies to emails from the platform reach hello@pointcloudprocessing.org.
- When sign-in, checkout or the mailing list is briefly unavailable, the message now says so.
- The account data export includes your classification request details, mailing-list sign-ups and admin actions on your account.
- Your account page shows the order number for each purchase and says that deleting the account ends your access. The onboarding sequence option is gone, and the two remaining email preferences each say which email they send.
- The homepage figure strip describes each figure as its caption in the book does.
- The pricing comparison says the 22 videos cover 16 of the 20 chapters.
- The waitlist says the video course is in production and a paperback is planned.
- On phones the end of the footer is no longer hidden under the reader toolbar or the video course bar, and the buy bar on the pricing page gives way to every plan's button.
- The selected PCToolbox screenshot is underlined in its switcher, and the first figure of the homepage strip is no longer faded on phones.
- Pages separate their sections with space and light grey bands instead of lines, and most small print and labels have been removed.
- The homepage shows the five parts of the book with their chapter ranges, and the full list of chapters stays on the contents page.
- On phones the homepage opens with the headline and the two actions, then the cover. The footer is now one short block of links.
- The classification result has rounded corners and a soft shadow, and the three extra resource links have been removed.
- The classification page shows a real result beside the upload area on desktop and below it on phones.
- The classification page opens with the upload area again, with sign-in before choosing or dropping files.
- Figures 1.9 and 18.3 now show their chapter references correctly.
- The phone reader includes Bookmark in its bottom toolbar, paid previews have fewer controls, and laptop navigation appears from 1024 pixels.
- Search now covers the full text of the free chapters, shows a short passage around each match and groups results by chapter.
- The reader applies your theme and text size from the first frame, and the section map keeps up with fast scrolls and jumps.
- Free chapters end with the next chapter, related chapters and one book offer. Paid previews end with the offer and the chapter links.
- The pricing page is shorter, with the comparison, one line of buying terms and five questions, including how to upgrade later for the price difference.
- Visitors can request a sign-in link directly on the classification page, and files can now be dropped onto the upload area.
- PCToolbox has a direct Windows download under the release email field, and its screenshots open full screen with Fit and 100% views.
- Every video page offers Book + Videos beside the details, and videos still in production no longer show a play button.
- Pages share one column, spacing and heading scale. On phones, actions are full width and long pages keep a buy button at the bottom of the screen.
Your library puts Continue reading, Read PDF and the download in one row, and your account groups access, email and data into three sections.
- The terms and the refund policy are at version 1.1. A purchase made while the videos or the practice kit are in production can be cancelled for a full refund until they ship.
- The three-shape logo now forms a reader, with a short homepage animation and a still version for reduced-motion preferences.
- Classification submissions lead with their current status, a plain explanation and a next action. Expired results explain how to upload again.
- Each plan in the homepage access comparison now opens its checkout directly, with library and upgrade options for existing customers.
- Classification uploads show measured progress and green confirmation. Submitters and admins can see available results, download actions and colour-coded request states.
- Signed-in customers open their library instead of buying the same access again. Higher tiers show upgrades for the price difference.
- Find classification updates through Uploads in your dashboard, with a clear status for unfinished transfers. Account settings preserve saved preferences and slow reader sync keeps new edits.
- Classification review accepts a valid file on its own, with an optional description and clear feedback when a file is missing.
- Account deletion waits for classification files to be removed so storage cleanup can finish before their records disappear.
- Classification uploads check LAS and LAZ headers, allow longer uploads, and keep file cleanup and result publishing safe to retry.
- Account settings confirm a server save before showing Saved and keep your edits available for retry when saving fails.
- Notes save in this browser as you type, account sync failures offer a retry, and the cookie notice stays behind open reader drawers.
- Interrupted classification uploads keep completed files during retries, and uploaded files can be confirmed again without resending them.
- Sign-in preserves your destination through failed attempts, checkout shows its progress, and search handles repeated query parameters.
- The privacy policy covers classification files: what is recorded, where the files are stored and how long they are kept.
The cohort page is gone. The footer, the mobile menu and the search palette now open the cohort on Maven directly.
- The moving strip of book figures now sits in the page column, with even tiles and a soft fade at both edges.
- The home page shows the full table of contents, all twenty chapters and the appendix in one view.
- The home page drops the task navigator and the free-tools section. The toolbox and the classification service stay in the header and the footer.
The footer is down to the essential links and reads as two columns on phones, so it no longer runs on for two screens.
- Every page is reduced to its title, its content and one action, and the reader tools now stay in a sticky rail beside the chapter.
- Sign-in links are now sent through our own email provider, so they arrive reliably. The sign-in page is down to the form itself.
- Page indexes have been removed across the platform. The toolbox page is shorter, with its capability section and closing Algorithm Lab paragraph removed.
- Page sections, mobile navigation and account messages are clearer. Classification administration now guides review, upload and delivery, with safer retries and more accurate notification messages.
- The chapter catalogue has clearer search and reading choices. Free classification now focuses on files and a short request, with optional details tucked away.
- Videos now have a thumbnail catalogue and a player-first watch page, with 16:9 placeholders, a side playlist and lesson details below the player.
- The video course has a clearer syllabus and lesson pages, with readable section headings, page indexes and mobile navigation improvements across the platform.
- The home page now explains its reading paths and free tools, with links between sections and a local pixel effect on the book cover.
- The video course now carries the full playlist beside every video, with the next and the previous one always at hand.
- The video course pages now show every planned video with its place in the book, and every page has been trimmed to one main action.
- Every page now asks for one thing: the book on the reader and the marketing pages, your email on the toolbox and this log, and the upload on the classification page. The footer carries the video course, the live cohort and consulting, and the pricing page links the refund policy and the terms.
- The chapter reader is rebuilt in the new look: a section map listing every figure, table, algorithm and definition in the chapter, a figure viewer with fit and full size, and cross-references that take you there and bring you back.
- Your library now opens on the chapter you were reading, shows how much of each part you have read, and puts the PDF one click away. The toolbox, classification and account pages moved to the new look with it.
- Each tier is one price for everyone.
- The site has a new look: white, set in IBM Plex, with the five parts of the book colour-coded by the shapes on the cover, and a home page you can navigate from your own problem.
- Search now returns individual sections, so a result takes you to the part of the chapter that answers the question.
- Reader fixes: the light and sepia themes now read correctly, printing keeps the definitions and examples, the contents sidebar scrolls on its own, and the reader returns you to the section you stopped at.
- The complete book is online: 20 chapters and the mathematical appendix, with every figure, table, definition and algorithm from the print edition.
- Buyers can download the book PDF from their library, and the online reader now links every cross-reference, equation number and citation.
